Celestials

Dex - 1, Con - 1, Cha - 1
Suggested Alignment: Some exhibit Neutral or Chaotic natures, but most are typically Lawful Good

Celestial refers to any native of the Outer Spheres, where they usually dwell. They are united in opposition to evil, whether it be their natural counterparts demons, or mortals who have chosen to follow a path into darkness. They are the purest of good, even if this good doesn't align with mortal constructs of "what's good". Celestials do not do evil often or at all, without fulfilling their mission for the greater good. To act on "evil" impulses too often can strip the heavenly rights, turning them into Fallen or Devils.

Celestials can be Lawful, Neutral or Chaotic, but their alignment shall always be good, unless they are a diluted offspring. They are hierarchical creatures, where their god/planet is the ultimate authority. Ranging from their plane of origin, small to mountainous, winged or not, the celestial host of the upper planes is diverse and more descriptive to the original plane or ideology from which they are manufactured. As a celestial grows up, they will receive holy directives from their patron/deity, usually encouraging them to vanquish what their deity considers evil.

Quick Facts:

  •    Size and appearance depends on the plane they come from.

  •   Truesight

  •   A series of evil acts can alter them to descent to the abyss

  •   Can be born or created. Cross-breeding with other races is rare

  •    Mostly uninterested in social constructs, unless it's in their directive to blend with mortals

  •   Immortal

  • Despite being minor celestials, Angels are practically unheard of walking among mortals.
