Rental Rules

ONCE YOU HAVE RENTED A BOX, PLEASE CONTACT KETSUI NAIDOO OR ROBYNREDHEAD TO BE ADDED TO THE RENTAL TAG SO YOU MAY REZ

Keep in mind most rentals are open to all who would like to rent but please choose within reason to your character. Don't rent some place just because it looks nice, you're expected to participate in the local RP of where you rent.

By renting on this sim, you are agreeing to follow these rules, and acknowledging there are no refunds. Once you pay, your money will be used to support the sim as a whole. The rentals are set to an occupancy of 3 weeks max due to people buying a rental for months then never playing on sim other than a place to park their av's to AFK.

IF YOU BUY A RENTAL PLEASE HAVE THE COURTESY TO INTERACT ON SIM, WE'RE NOT A HOTEL.

  1. You may have only one rental.

  2. You may not exceed your prim limit. You will be told to reduce your prims only once. Then your items will be returned after 24 hours.

  3. Do not rez anything that makes sounds. Or at least be sure that it may be muted, and is muted.

  4. Do not rez anything that blocks pathways, access to your rental (or other rentals), or interrupts the flow of the area in which your rental is located.

  5. If you place up excessively scripted items, or offensive items. The staff team has the right to return those items to you.

  6. Be respectful of other’s rentals, and the implied privacy thereof.

  7. No teleporters, chat spammers, tip jars, or griefing materials.

  8. Items inside house must not be modern. This is a medieval roleplay sim, that allows up to mid-17th century items. Keep that in mind.

  9. We understand people have partners, you may add ONE person to your rental. To do this, send a notecard to Novus Ascending Resident with your rental location, your name, and the account name of your partner. Please note: your total, combined prims must not exceed your rental amount. This means if you rent something for 50 prims, those 50 prims are to be split between both renters NOT 50 prims each.

  10. Nomad rentals may not get in the way of roleplay areas, break immersion of the area, or be used to make your own skybox.

  11. Prim limitations are strict for nomad rentals. If you're in need of more prims, please consider a normal rental in your desired area

  12. Nomad rentals are not for adding more prims to your existing rental and are subject to the one rental rule. If you wish to have more prims, contact Ketsui Naidoo or Gwen Swansong

  13. We do not allow shops in rentals, please ask an admin if you wish to run a store because there might be a sim sanctioned one already available to own or to work at!

Expired Rental Protocol

Upon expiration of your rental, the following will happen

  • You will have 3 days to renew your rental after it has expired, if you do not renew another player may ask for it to be cleaned out and refreshed for them

  • If you mark it will not renew you will be evicted immediately after it expires.

  • You will be removed from the rental group but if you find a new rental you just need to be asked to be re-added

  • Your things will be returned at or around the time you are ejected as a renter

  • You are not being ejected and rental cleaned out because you're in trouble, it is just procedure so we keep things organized

  • If you are kicked from the rental group by mistake, ask to be added again! Mistakes do happen.

  • If you are not in the rentals group you will be assumed not a renter any longer and your things returned.
